Server System Engineer

Brief Description:

We are looking for a motivated system engineer to integrate regular server system, rack system, networking system or cloud computing system. After integration, the engineer is required to configure the system, validate the functionalities of the system, boost the system’s performance, upgrade the latest software, firmware and BIOS, write batch scripts to do the stress test, such as LINPAC, Maximum power test and chamber aging test etc. and setup power-on-off testing.

  • Integrate regular server system, rack system, networking system or cloud computing system
  • Configure the integrated system
  • Perform testing for the integrated system
  • Update the latest software, firmware and BIOS
  • Write batch scripts to test the integrated system
  • Boost the system’s performance
  • Learn the new technology of the new generation CPU and chipsets and figure out new procedure to test the new functions
  • Works with cross functional teams to develop new testing procedures
  • Support design teams in debugging the integrated system with concrete analysis during development
  • Support sales team in debugging deployed the integrated system at customers’ sites with concrete analysis
  • Attend project meeting and provide updates for China team of Inspur


  • 2+ years work experience with server, networking, storage and cloud industry
  • Working experience in writing Python under Linux and developing system level test procedure
  • Working experience on system integration, configuration and software, firmware and BIOS updating
  • Working experience on LINPAC testing
  • Working experience on PXE server setup
  • Working experience on networking setup


  • BS or MS on Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
