Inspur NF5270M4 server platform supports dual Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 / E5-2600 V3 processors and 20 DDR4 DIMMs, ideal for storage server, data mining, Big Data, Hadoop, Open Stack, small and medium-scale database, virtualization, VSAN and high performance distributed file systems.
Inspur NF5270M4 can be configured with 16 or 24 hot-plug 2.5” bays, 8 or 12 hot-plug 3.5” bays for SATA/SAS HDDs or SSDs (all configurations have option to add 2 hot plug 2.5” bays in the back of the system). The wide range of configuration options offer the flexibility to customize for disk performance or greater storage capacity. NF5270M4 has a tool-less and modular mechanical design with great attention to quality and detail. The chassis has smooth edges throughout. The drive trays for the 3.5” bays have mounting holes for installing 2.5” drives, allowing the server to be configured with a combination of 3.5” rotating disks as well as 2.5” SSDs for applications that need both storage capacity and high IO throughput. Flexibility of the server design provides one platform for multiple applications to optimize cost and protect investment.
Inspur NF5270M4 provides 6 PCI-e slots (3 x16 + 3 x8) for upgradability and scalability; one of the slots is a x8 mezzanine slot for adding a dual port 10G SFP+ card or dual port 10G-BaseT card. NF5270M4 also supports turbo boost and overclocking for user applications which require higher performance. Multiple platinum and titanium power supply options are available, supporting PMBUS and Intel’s latest NM3.0 technology. Inspur thermal design optimizes air flow control using the latest PID technology to effectively dissipate heat, control and reduce system noise, which significantly increases product durability and reliability and significantly reduce system power consumption when coupled with a platinum-level high efficiency power supply.
