NX5440M4 is a new computational blade server launched by Inspur. Compared with the previous generation, its performance is up by 90%. The 8U blade box can accommodate 20 blades. It can support the fastest 100Gb network in the industry and has such advantages as high efficiency, low consumption and high performance-price ratio.
It has the highest computational density in the industry and can accommodate 20 N5440M4 blades in an 8U-high I8000 casing, or 5 processors in a 1U space on the average. Compared with a rack-type server, it can save considerable spaces.
It has the fastest network speed in the industry and can support 100Gb/s EDR network, much faster than earlier networks. Therefore, it is characterized by high bandwidth and low delay.
Ultrahigh computing performance: NX5440M4 is based on the latest Intel Grantley platform; it supports Intel AVX2 instruction; its number of floating-point computations doubles that of the previous-generation AVX and its performance is up by 1.9 times.
