Updates to Manufacturing Procedures During COVID-19
A letter from our CEO
Dear valued customers and partners, I am writing this letter to give you an update on the status of Inspur’s production given the impact of the recent coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan city.
Inspur has deployed production, procurement and services globally, allowing us to meet global delivery needs and reduce overall delivery risk. Our factories in the US, Taiwan and Europe are operating as usual. Most factories in China have been asked to extend the break by a week, resuming production on Feb 10th. Key components such as CPUs and DRAMs are made outside of China, while safety stocks of other materials are available to cover the transition. We do not expect any associated impact to be material to our customers.
Our suppliers are putting safety and health policies and requirements in place while ensuring sufficient reserves of supplies and resources to mitigate the coronavirus impact.
We will closely monitor the coronavirus prevention and control, formulate contingency plans for possible scenarios, and provide you with further updates should noteworthy changes emerge.
Yours sincerely,
Leon Zheng
