The i28 server is a high-density product for large-scale data centers. It contains 8 server nodes in a 2U space and integrates two network switch modules and one remote management module. The NS3124M5 is a node designed for the i28 system. It is based on the Xeon E3 platform and enterprise-class SAS hard disk support. It is especially suitable for business hosting, cloud computing, EDA, image recognition and other application scenarios.
The 2U chassis supports up to eight 1/4-wide nodes. It uses a shared architecture to support redundant hot-swappable fans and power supplies. Two switch modules are integrated in the chassis to provide superior computing density and network switching capabilities.
Simplified Operation and Maintenance
The i28 enables modularization of the whole machine, tool-free operation and maintenance, and convenient pre-maintenance design, which greatly simplifies the complexity of maintenance. Remote operation and maintenance utilizes a unified CMC interface, which implements the management of any node and chassis fan, power supply, and switch module. The integrated wiring scale is 1/8 of the traditional server.
A unified power and cooling system brings the ultimate space utilization and energy efficiency, greatly improving the cost efficiency of the data center.
